BryanLarson wins the Juniors ’08MercO’dark:30 Criterium.

… the racing was aggressive and fast. almost worked like a cup of coffee to blow out the cobwebs of having to drive that early to get there and watch the damn thing.

**hope Bryan and the other couple cats are ok after that E2 road race spill. If anyone has details on that, it’d be appreciated.

should have put the flower in your helmet; you’re not pack-fodder when you have the flower power with you. so sad although with the 300 prime you could buy more and stop sitting at the back spraying water at people

Bryan has really impressed me the last couple of years, especially considering he has not had any teammates.
3rd at the Jr. crit champs, won the RR champs, podium @ Nationals crit, etc, etc,
Anybody with aspiring juniors, that’s the wheel to watch.

      SOLD!

the “Whole Athlete” kid was knocked out pretty good. And Larsen lost part of a tooth and had a headload of pain to look forward to for awhile.

I can’t wait for the masters 1-2-3 race reportage on the road race. That was way to much fun to watch on Saturday.

I sure am gaining respect for the master 1-2-3. These guys race without radios and know exactly what is taking place. Their tactics are so calculated.

They give it all, never back down, never give up and just awesome to watch.

      Pretty cool.

Why are 2′s only races so damn sketchy? Too many hot heads trying to get upgrade points…

    11. March 3, 2008 at

You can set your watch to a last lap crash in the 2′s @ that same spot. We were racing for 10th place, which makes it that much more ridiculous. I backed off knowing the crash would come (cough cough and cause I was suffering), even asked someone what side of the road he thought the crash would happen on. Sure enough. Kablam, gutter to gutter peril. I stopped and helped clear the road, afraid the pro’s were breathing down our necks. I guess it was Bryan who asked me if I had seen his tooth, hope he’s ok.

2 groups hammered off the front, we blinked and missed it. Poulsen attacked hard a couple of times and Hernando countered. With 10 up the road and the teams on the front we weren’t going anywhere.

      Hey MH,

The Merco crit results have you as DNF? I could have swore I saw you finish in the top ten.

his thong was bothering his saddle sores….and he lost his flower power in lap 3 after he won the $300 prime

    20. March 5, 2008 at

that prime sucked the juice right out of me … i can’t believe i didn’t quit right then.

and the merco results are always … problematic. bleh, whatevah.
