Sabine, Donna, and Dorit are all fine.  Broken bones for each of the three after a rare slow crash at the track.

BJM might have a broken bone up in Bend during the criterium.

Leon Pitts broke one as well, up at Cascade with all the other NorCal travelers.

nothing but good thoughts for everyone.

      healing thoughts to all.

broken/healing bones require more calcium so that means free license to eat all the ice cream you want!!!

    25. July 14, 2008 at

It was truly a scary incident for us watching in the stands, too, albeit not nearly as for those who were involved.

The pics were as ugly as the incident and glad to hear that they’re gone now.

Peace and speedy recovery to the three of you.

      Thanks for the good thoughts.

I was sitting on the curb of the crit trying to not get sick on people’s shoes and all I could think was how I didn’t have it that bad compared to my bro last year.

Hope all the other crash victims are relatively comfy and in good spirits.

and nothing is on fire here this morning…

      yep, things are good here!

Sabine – enjoy the pampering! But heal quickly. Watching the TdF each morning is one of the few benefits of being laid up …

Yes it’s true,Sabine lapped me in the first and only Broken Bones IV Pole Crit held at Regional Medical Center in San Jose where drug monitoring was going on the whole time we were on the course.Michael did an incedible job announcing and got the staff really worked up.Dorit,we really missed you being there and making it a real “hammer till you hurl race.”

The race was dedicated to Ben JM who would have loved this race format.Right Ben?

      A serious THANK YOU to
Michael,Andreas,Linda,Erica,Fritz, aka Matt Fritzinger for getting us all through the night at RMC and thank you Pat Briggs and Tom Fahey for being first on the scene to administer to our serious medical needs. You guys know your stuff.

Thanks to everyone who has posted get well wishes. It does help us heal.

Donna -The Train Listener. If you saw my crash picture you will get it.
