My word and hmmhmm … it’s a foreshadowing sort of day, here in the lands of sCruz.
Light, but soggy fog has blanketed the coast, pouring over WestCliff and running up the mountains, giving the look of the forested tops as fuzzy chins held nervously above wading water.

Couldn’t make it out to this one, but it looks like Ruth Winder took a victory in the Women’s 3/4. Ruth is one of the cooler cats you’ll come across these days ~ yeah … she’s into athletics and the fun of friendly competition … but more than that, she explores art, she reads and travels … she thinks. And all before she can drive, i reckon.

If you really want to change the election, don’t just vote, come to Nevada and campaign for Obama. CA is pretty well locked up for Obama, but NV not so much. May turn out that our electoral votes are really important this go ’round. The Mrs. has several relatives who are coming over the hill to campaign. Nevadans need your persuading!
