Fox Racing
… best suspension systems in the world.
(sound gets better after a bit)
-
BUT hey FOX Head… instead of investing in ANOTHER stripmall, outlet outrage in where’eversville to sell shirts and caps … how about instead …
.
You invest in transforming your FoxTail snowmobile partners into producing Green-machines to the market place. I mean, how cool would it be to have hybrid or electric snowmobiles running through our public lands. Quiet, clean, powerful.
.
That’s INVESTING your money in the future, FOX. Because there are 5gazillion bikers, skiers, and other recreationalists that would buy, in a heartbeat, a clean snowmobile to go out and bang around on. and oh, that immediacy of torque the e-engine provides!
.hellyeah.

Not sure what your outlet outrage comment comes from. Are you confusing Fox Shox with Fox clothing?

those shirts and caps pay for the kitty food.
A Fox primer
Fox Head makes bike, mx, and street bike protective gear. They also make clothing with the Fox brand.
Fox Tail makes suspension systems for bikes, ATV, off road, mx and snowmobiles.
The founders of the two Fox are brothers, but that is the extent of the business relationship.
Fox Head has no direct connection with snowmobiles and really no influence on that industry. They do however have a connection and an influence on the mx industry.

Fox Shox and Fox Clothing can work together to initiate change.
Just think about it - a suspension system for hybrid/electro vehicles.
think of how many industries (snowmobile, ATV’s, small motobikes) can produce new, clean, LIGHTER vehicles.
and FOX Shox might make a lot of money by being the Industry Leader in green designs.
And FOX Head can do the same by being an industry leader in green manufacturing, distribution, and choices in their investments.
Fox Head and Fox Tail (shox) have a HUGE cultural following — all those millions of young and old lovers of the kickass motox action, or ATV racing action …
all those MILLIONS of folks could be introduced to a new idea from Fox - green, PROFITABLE, fun shit with jumps.
and the clothes can make it cool.
it’s not outrage, it’s just common sense. The new economy is the green economy. the new investment is in ‘engines’ that drive that green economy.
it’s silicon valley - the center of the entrepreneurial spirit.
we’ll make it happen.

Maybe if you knew someone from FOX you could influcnce them from within. But where would you find someone like that?
It’s probably true that green will be in with the motorized recreational demographic due to the high price of fuel and the (slim) potential for better environmental regulation in our public lands with a new administration. Fox could ride the green wave. One can always dream.

the guy in the vid is one of the honchos in the shox design department. i have his name, know where he rides, made him laugh.
convincing on green is inevitable.
hey salsadiva, what green stuff do you guys have going on at your facility?
we’ll do beers soon and you can tell me all about it. i’m writing a grant to implement bike use and public health benefits AND how those benefits support green economic principles … and make profits.
let’s talk, yo.

Hernando–sounds great, maybe this weekend? The FOX person I was thinking of is your significant other…doesn’t she front for the Man?
October 8th, 2008 at
weekend cross ride if you can.
well, she had an idea to have their multi-million dollar facility install the energy saving lightbulbs.
that’s pure, low-hanging profit.
i heard from a VOS-mate (novitsky) that the SF high-snoot grocery chain, Draegers, changed their lights to energy saver’s in all 11 of their stores and made their money back in 40 days.
40 frickin’ days, and then the rest is all profit.
And then there’s the new air conditioning designs that can save tons of energy in these big-box office complex’s.
man, who doesn’t want that kind of profit? where are all the entrepreneurs in NorCal?
time to get’er done. we can do this.

Hows the green kitchen remodel going? Have seen this Google Project?

If you have hundreds of people that commute by themselves in a vehicle from point A to B every day, is it possible to develop a system/website to connect them with companies that need to get their smallish type products from point A to B as well. For instance, strawberry farm at point A sells berries to restaurant at point B. Commuter stops by farm, loads up product, delivers product, collects small fee. Commute not wasted, fuel saved, guilty SUV conscience soothed, win win. BTW Hernando’s site has documented my idea, unless he deletes the post and goes on to make all the millions for himself. I just want a small fee (no golden parachute well maybe silver). Was thinking of posting this on the Google project 10.

I work for Fox and we rule! We are the champions of the world! Hey Mikey I will be representing Fox Shox on my cross bike this sunday at Laguna, you gonna make it out?
Im thinking I need to make a suspension fork for my cross bike, this idea might catch on. And if you could help with the design that would be even better.
See Ya There I Hope
