Hmm, I didn’t know it was “bash Israel on a cycling website” day…

FYI, the rap video is set in Lod, inside Israel (the town where the main airport is located, near Tel Aviv), where DAM (the group) is based….so its sort strange that it served as a catalyst for a debate on the current conflict in Gaza. But whatever…its all the same, right?

I wonder if there will be a parallel protest “Stop the Hamas rocket attacks on people living within undisputed borders!”…I doubt it, because that’s not relevant, right?

I don’t think condemning the action of one group automatically equates to condoning the action of another.

Rachel Maddow is my intellectual crush too – even though I’m totally straight. She’d be fun to sit and have a few beers with, although I’m sure a lot of beer would be coming out of my nose from the laughter…

I do like the humor of Rachel and Keith. I don’t know… I find her too partisan though. I wouldn’t call her show intellectually stimulating. I prefer the News Hour on PBS. I saw a round table discussion on monetary and fiscal policy on CNN this afternoon…. Ouch, that one made the brain hurt… that was good stuff.

I guess we all have Jon Stewart to thank for waking the minds of major media outlets to the fact that we were willing to accept a satirical view more easily than a filtered one. Why did it have to take seven out of eight years for it to come around?
