• NorCal Racers in the Medals Again at CX Nats

    Gina Hall and Norman Kreiss, both racing for Cal Giant Cycling, won medals in their respective race categories today. Hall won the Women’s 45+ race with Trina Baumsteiger (Team Rambuski Law) also making the podium-presentation in fifth place. Hall successfully grabbed a small gap on her opponents by the end of the first lap and pressed on in the softening mud to secure her second national title.

    In the Men’s 55+ race, Norman Kreiss come home as the runner-up for the second year running, falling to Paul Curley (Mid-State Cycling Club). Three other NorCal racers secured top-ten finishes in this race – Henry Kramer (Cal Giant Cycling) rode home in sixth, Jim Gentes grabbed an eight-place finish, and George Smith (Webcor/Alto Velo) took ninth.
