• Muddy ‘Cross Championships – Day 3

    by  • January 6, 2012 • cx

Day 3 of the USAC 2012 National Cyclo-cross Championships had a full slate of races with seven Junior categories, eight races, and ten championships in all. Temperatures reached into the high 40s on a mostly cloudy day and may have reached the 50°F mark. The course constantly changed as much of it became thick sticky mud by the end of the day. Master Women 35-39 Championship winner Sally Annis (crossresults.com) changed bikes each lap to keep from trucking around all the mud.
