Don Myrah (Ibis/Buy-cell.com) followed up his US National Cyclocross crown with a win in Men 45-49 at the 2012 UCI Master’s Cyclocross World Championships. NorCal racers joining Myrah were fifth place James Coats (California Giant/Specialized) and bronze medalist Gannon Myall (California Giant/Specialized). Lap times indicate Myrah built a 30-second lead after three laps that ballooned out to 1 minute 33 seconds by race end. This was similar to the race just 1 week ago at Verona, as a dominant Myrah stormed away from that field at the Nationals.
Elsewhere at the Master’s World Championships, another NorCal racer, Justin Robinson (California Giant/Specialized), came home 19th in the Men 35-39 race.
