USA Cycling announced today it has selected three venues for the 2014-2016 Cyclo-cross National Championships. The 2014 event will be held in Boulder, Colorado. Austin, Texas will host the 2015 spectacle whilst Asheville, North Carolina is the site for 2016.
In a press release, Micah Rice, Managing Director of National Events, said “We had three outstanding bids making the only logical choice to award all three communities. The decision to award one-year contracts for the championships will also help foster cyclo-cross racing in three distinctively different parts of the country.”
Valmont Bike Park is the location for Boulder. Adding to this year’s Formula 1 circus in the city, Austin will host the Nats at Zilker Park. US cyclo-cross will then hold it’s national championships at the Vanderbilt Biltmore Estate for 2016.

The full press release is available on the USA Cycling web site.
