    Thomas De Gendt

So, what is the big deal about Vacansoleil?

First of all, Vacansoleil is a Flemish team.  Oh, no…they are actually a Dutch team but have a few Belgian riders in the team.  If you ever watch a few Euro races it is most likely that there will be a Vacansoleil guy in the break.  This team is still building and they are making really good progress in showing everyone what they can do.  Gotta watch them in races and learn their unique tactics.

Wait, what?  You don’t have their kits or accessories yet?  Get them here.

Let’s go back and watch those highlights of Stage 20 of the Giro d’Italia and tell me that Vacansoleil is not a very cool team to be a fan of.  Recaps, interviews and highlights here.

Okay, Thomas De Gendt who won a very brutal hill climb finish of Stage 20 at the Giro d’Italia is Belgian!  That was an epic finish and he solo’d to the line wasted.

Vacansoleil’s title sponsor is a Euro travel agency for your camping needs.  Learn more about the team, their sponsors, race schedules and something called the “fan zone”!
