An all arounder and always a contender but what is really missing from Levi to grab hold of that yellow jersey in Paris? A native Santa Rosa, CA pro rider. Races with local pros for training in the Bay Area. Heard of Levi’s King Ridge Grand Fondo or “Let Levi Ride” campaign? Now, catch his new documentary called “The Levi Effect.” Levi likes charity work and loves animals. How can one not love Levi? Who doesn’t love Levi?
Omega Pharma Quick Step kit color similar to Gerolsteiner kit color, btw.
Recently finished 3rd in the Tour de Suisse overall right behind Frank Schleck after coming back from a nasty broken femur earlier this year. Good sign for Levi as he starts ramping up for the biggest Grand Tour of the year. This could be his year with Tony Martin, who is also in good form and a team focusing on GC overall. Tony Martin can win a mountain stage and can also time trial. Let’s not count him out for overall GC. The toughest team to beat is the Shack and this year’s soap opera events (which is very cool btw!) is making the yellow vulnerable for grabs.
Does he have what it takes to win the Tour de France this year? Is his move to Omega Pharma Quick Step going to take him to the top podium steps in Paris?
NorCal is awaiting for that yellow jersey!
