    NorCal Eyes on Surry BC
The Kevin Noiles Watch • 29 November 2013

Kevin Noiles is ready in his bid to take himself and his Rock Lobster bike to ‘cross Worlds. This Saturday 30 November is the 2013 Canadian Cyclocross Championships and a good placing could very well see a NorCal connection at Hoogerheide.

It has been an up and down season for Noiles. He has had very good results including the top podium step and several top-five placings. Sometimes luck has also left him wanting, such as an opponent’s rear derailleur into his spokes. His latest challenge comes from the national governing body as, 2 weeks before the National Championships, CyclingCanada released their selection policy. No longer is it top-five at Nationals but top-three instead.

Some racers may have benefitted with pre-season planning and preparation given foreknowledge of the new policies.

Nevertheless, it will become all the greater an achievement should Noiles make the grade. NorCal Cycling News, along with many others from Northern California, are keen to see Noiles represent himself, his family, his country, and Rock Lobster at the 2014 Cyclo-Cross World Championships. We wish Noiles a great race.

Live coverage is on line at Canadian Cycling Magazine.
