Below is a list of NorCal projects that folks in our community are raising money to fund. Riders, teams, and entrepreneurs all need our support. Let’s keep it local.
- Women’s Cycling Association – The WCA is focused on improving the state of women’s cycling. Become a member and support the revolution.
- USAC RallyMe Project – The USA Cycling Development Foundation, in conjunction with the USA Cycling Athletics Department, is matching donations for 9 athletes, several of whom have NorCal roots. Get on it!
Megan Guarnier – As former American National Road Race Champion (2012), I am following my dream to become one of the best cyclists in the World. I race in Europe full-time for Boels-Dolmans cycling team. My long-term goals include representing the United States in 2016 Olympic Games. I dream of our nation bringing home a gold medal from Rio de Janeiro Road Race.
- Ruth Winder – I’m a 20 year old cyclist, living in Northern California when I’m not traveling for races! I race a road season from March to June and a track season August to February. This found will help me stay 100% focused on being the best cyclist I can be. Recently I have realized that I need to see a chiropractor/physical therapist to help take care of some lingering injuries from old accidents. This found will help me continue to be able to take care of my body and stay strong in my training to make the 2016 Rio Olympic Track Team.
- Maura Kinsella – Hi! My name is Maura Kinsella and I am a 22 year-old professional female cyclist. I’m raising money in order to help fund this year’s travel expenses in pursuit of one day making the U.S. Olympic Team.
